Dr. Mohammad Tinawi, MD

Dr. Tinawi is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Michigan State University Affiliated Hospitals in East Lansing, Michigan, where he also served as an acting chief medical resident. He completed a fellowship in Nephrology at Saint Louis University Hospital under the directorship of Dr. Kevin Martin. Dr. Tinawi has published scholarly articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and lectured extensively on different topics related to kidney diseases on local, regional, and national levels.

Dr. Tinawi is currently an adjunct clinical assistant professor of medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine Northwest-Gary. served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Michigan State University from 2004 to 2009. Dr. Tinawi is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Nephrology.
